Learn if you’re eligible to compete in the Entrepreneurs Challenge.
The NYU Entrepreneurs Challenge is the premier platform for launching ventures founded by NYU entrepreneurs. To compete, ventures must meet the following criteria:
Certain businesses such as consultancies, real estate syndications, and nonprofits, are prohibited from participating in the Challenge.
Venture concepts that competed in a prior year and advanced to the Final Round are not eligible to re-enter.
The Challenge is for promising early-stage ventures. Teams with working prototypes or demonstrated proof of concept will be most competitive.
Teams must have at least one current NYU student, current full-time NYU faculty member, current NYU researcher or NYU alumnus/a regardless of college or school on their team. It's expected that the NYU affiliate will play a material role in the development of the venture both during the Challenge and afterwards.
Ventures must have received no more than $1,000,000 in diluted funding as of their application date to the NYU Entrepreneurs Challenge.
