NYU Entrepreneurs Challenge Semi-Finalist, Frich, Raises $2.8 Million

The team behind the personal finance app Frich recently announced they had raised $2.8 million in a seed funding round led by Restive Ventures, which included participation from TruStage, K20 and Spartan Innovations.

Founded by Aleksandra Medina (NYU Abu Dhabi BA ‘21) and Katrin Kaurov, the Frich App was made to demystify personal finance management for younger generations. With a focus on breaking through the unrealistic facades of financial success often seen on social media, Frich aims educate and give users a realistic view of how their peers are managing their finances.
