NYU also earned top 10 rankings for female founders at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, highlighting the strength and breadth of the University’s entrepreneurial community.
The recognition reflects an entrepreneurship ecosystem that extends across NYU, connecting students, alumni, faculty, researchers, and founders from disciplines throughout the University. Through programs, resources, mentorship, funding opportunities, and a community of entrepreneurs across NYU and New York City, aspiring founders have opportunities to develop ideas and build ventures at every stage of their entrepreneurial journey.

The 2026 rankings build on NYU’s continued presence among the world’s leading universities for venture-backed founders and underscore the impact of an entrepreneurial community that reaches far beyond any one school, discipline, or program.
