The Entrepreneurs Challenge, hosted annually by the Berkley Center for Entrepreneurship, is a springboard for promising NYU startups.
Part-accelerator and part venture competition, this intense program will provide your early-stage team with how-to workshops, hands-on boot camps, 1:1 coaching, and access to prototyping funds—all designed to guide you step-by-step through launching and growing your startup.

The New Venture Competition provides a forum for startups tackling significant and growing market opportunities through creative models and approaches. The NVC is industry agnostic and encompasses both commercial and for-profit social impact ventures.
The Tech Venture Competition welcomes teams working on concepts with a unique technology at its core. These tech-centric ventures are not simply delivering value by deploying existing technology but are creating new technologies to address emerging needs.
The Healthcare and Biomedical Venture Competition seeks to provide a path to commercialization for scientists and researchers developing solutions to critical health-related challenges.

The NYU Entrepreneurs Challenge is made possible by the generous support of the Rennert Family Foundation, Mr. Ira Rennert (MBA ’56), and Mr. Ari Rennert (BS ’01). Teams will compete for the Rennert Family New Venture, Technology Venture, or Healthcare and Biomedical Venture Prizes. Each prize is awarded as seed funding in the form of a KISS agreement. The total prize amount is $225K, with $75K awarded for each track.
